The PADI Advanced Open Water course consists in 5 Adventure dives, 2 of them are mandatory: deep and underwater navegation dives, plus others three adventure dives: peak performance buoyancy, drift, AWARE fish identification, underwater photography, boat dive, underwater naturalistic, etc. As you make these dives, you develop skills that make diving more fun, more versatile and expand the types of dives you can make.
You earn the PADI Adventure diver certification by making three Adventure dives. Any Adventure dives you make count toward your Adventure Diver certifcation (needs 3 adventure dives), the Advanced (3 adventure dives plus underwater navegation and deep dives), or the Specialty dives.
After completing the Advanced course, you are qualified to begin the PADI Rescue Diver course.
To attain this rating, a diver must be at least 15 year olds. The Jr. Advanced Open Water certification is from 12 to 14 year olds.
